Solo traveler's recommended stay
The staff was helpful, like when Romana arranged our airport pickup and even booked us a Jazz cruise on the river. Plus, sipping coffee outdoors while taking in the views near the Charles Bridge was a highlight I didn't expect!
It was a bit pricey but acceptable for the experience we had.

We have spent 2 days in double room with an amazing view of the Charles Bridge, separate bathroom, as example. The location was great, close to Prague Palace. It was set right next to restaurants and cafes.

great location
We paid for a deluxe suite but didn't think it was really worth it. We didn't have hot water for our showers, which the staff did not seem terribly concerned about resolving. No major problem but we aren't terribly interested in returning.

This charming hotel right next to the Charles Bridge made it easy to explore Prague. The historic ambiance adds an extra layer of charm, with lovely wooden beams and a cozy, old-world feel to the rooms. My room, despite being on the 4th floor, featured amazing views, but climbing all those stairs became quite a workout, especially lugging my suitcase. Breakfast was satisfactory, with options, although I missed having a toaster. The staff were helpful when I needed an extra pillow and quickly arranged my airport transportation. Some issues like limited Wi-Fi speed and noise from the bridge at night were noticeable and a bit distracting. Still, it reminded me of a great base for city wanderings, especially with a late-night stroll on the bridge right outside.

The room featured complimentary cakes and water, made for a cozy welcome. Free computer access in the guest lounge proved useful for printing boarding passes.
Climbing 57 steps to the 3rd floor with heavy luggage was a real hassle, and the Wi-Fi was non-functional . The handheld showerhead was inconvenient, with no fix on the wall, and the breakfast lacked a toasting facility.

The Wifi did not work with my computer and the staff could not explain the problem or help.

The staff.
I would prefer somewhere further away from the Charles Bridge, as it has become very touristy since I last visited Prague. However, there is no doubt that the location of the hotel is generally very good for walking around. Only one complaint - the shower took at least five minutes for the water to get hot in the morning.

Request a room on the lower floors for better views and larger windows, as the 4th floor rooms are quite small and dark.

Very good hotel in a best plece in a city (next at Charles bridge). Room was idyllic with a hand painted woosden ceiling with a direct view of bridge. Very clean over all and nice buffet type breakfast. 24 hours reception were also very friendly. At down side there were trafic whole night at Charles bridge and it was impossible to sleep without earplugs that we were offcause reserved for that particular reason. Price was something like 70e / night at 2 person room. Highly recommended!

Very good location, room was big and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Can highly recommend this hotel to anyone who want to stay in a central location in Prague.
The only thing is that they did not have a lift in the hotel. We were on the second floor so not too bad for us.
